Levin Simes Kaiser & Gornick was formed by lawyers who came together from different paths to represent injured workers and their families against big corporations.
Before deciding to use his experience to help individuals, Bill Levin represented some of the nation’s largest corporations as partner at a national law firm. During roughly the same time period, Laurel Simes was protecting the rights of workers and their families in her own plaintiff's practice. Levin’s former partner, Jeff Kaiser, joined the firm in 2003 and brought with him over 10 years of experience in complex product liability litigation, including hundreds of asbestos mesothelioma claims.
When they joined forces, Levin, Simes and Kaiser had gained extensive knowledge and had over 40 years of combined litigation experience defending and prosecuting cases involving mesothelioma as well as other serious personal injury cases. This unique background gives LSK&G the upper hand in cases involving these areas litigation.
Larry Gornick, who spent 17 years representing large corporations, came aboard in 2006. Mr. Gornick is a trial lawyer with a practice focused on product liability, consumer class actions, unfair business practices and false advertising. He has tried cases across the country, including courts in California, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Washington.
LSK&G also benefits from the services of Steve Stein, of counsel to the firm. Mr. Stein is one of California’s most experienced and distinguished lawyers representing victims and has been honored by the San Francisco Trial Lawyer’s Association.
